Dr Easmon trained at St George’s. London. He did his elective in Ghana (his country of birth) and has since worked with, among others, MERLIN, Raleigh International and Save the Children in Rwanda, and ECHO in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. With the Foreign Office he has visited Egypt, Israel, Tunisia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines.
His route in to travel medicine and public health was through medical evacuations, working abroad and stints at the Hospital for Tropical Disease’s travel clinic. He enjoyed several years on the board of the British Travel Health Association and was one of the first UK medical practitioners to have obtained the International Certificate in Travel Health (CTH) from the International Society of Travel Health. In 2008 Charlie became a member of the new Faculty of Travel Medicine – MFTM RCPS (Glasg).
Charlie’s interest in mental health in the workplace came late through his occupational health work in which he saw the consequences of poor work environments, late referral, lack of mental health support resources or poor management.

Special interests include women’s health and contraception, occupational health, musicians’ health and sexual health. She is based at Temple Bar Medical Centre, Dublin.
GP and approved Doctor for Maritime and Coastguard Agency and various Cruise Lines providing occupational medicals for seafarers including performers. Experienced in providing both occupational and general practice services to performance professionals.
Dr Kajan Kanagasabai graduated from St George’s Medical School, London in 1998. He has worked in various hospitals with medical specialities such as General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Women’s medicine and Mental Health. He has been practising as a GP since 2003 and became a partner at Mount Avenue Surgery in Brentwood in 2005.
He has extensive experience in minor surgery having provided this service for his large practice population consisting of 14,000 patients for over 15 years. He regularly updates and audits his service to maintain his high quality of service he provides as the lead Doctor in Minor Surgery.
Dr Naomi Brecker is a practicing Consultant Occupational Physician, with a wide experience and skill set that is relevant to performing arts medicine. She is a graduate of the UCL Performing Arts Medicine programme. She is an accredited Consultant in Public Health Medicine, with training and experience in epidemiology, audit and evaluation of service provision and infectious disease control in the community. She has a special interest in occupational health assessment and management of performing artists. Many of the problems are psychological or musculoskeletal, and she is experienced in assessing and advising about work-related modifications, rehabilitation and signposting to treatment services.
