BAPAM: PERFORMING ARTS MEDICINE
Performing Arts Medicine Research Hub
As the UK’s medical charity for the performing arts, BAPAM has collected data from over 10,000 patient consultations, which can be used for research in accordance with patient consent and data protection regulation.
We welcome discussion regarding partnerships with researchers and academic institutions. We are keen to contribute our unique knowledge, data and experience to strenghten the evidence base, and further the development of education, protective care, and effective treatment for work-related health problems in the creative sector.
If a research project you are undertaking has ethics approval from a suitable academic body, we may be able to help share information about the project, including calls for participants, with our extensive network of creative practitioners, healthcare professionals, educators and industry organisations.
BAPAM’s Research Policy is published in full here: Research Policy.
