BAPAM Impact Report 2023-2025

BAPAM (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine) is the UK’s medical charity for the performing arts.

This Impact Report (2023 – 2025) highlights health challenges facing people across the sector and how BAPAM and its partners are supporting them.  

Key Statistics Include:  

• BAPAM delivered nearly 2,800 free specialist clinical consultations in 2025 alone
• Patients to the UK wide clinics presented most often with musculoskeletal injuries (41%)
• 55% of patients are based outside London.
• The charity delivered 20,000+ psychotherapy sessions since 2021, reducing anxiety/depression by 6 points on PHQ/GAD scales
• 99% of patients would recommend BAPAM
