Hello, my name is Rosanna and I am a senior psychotherapist with BAPAM, experienced in integrative and systemic psychotherapy and accredited with both the BACP and UKCP. I have been in private practice now for 4 years providing therapy to actors, musicians and dancers. I worked therapeutically in the public sector for 12 years prior to this.
If systemic and integrative feels like jargon (!), hopefully the following provides some clarity:
Integrative psychotherapy draws from a range of methods and techniques to tailor therapy to your unique circumstances, rather than a one-therapy-fits-all approach.
Systemic psychotherapy looks at behaviour and patterns in the context of relationships, social networks and environment. This can incorporate individual, couple and family therapy.
Whilst I am open to working with all client concerns, these are some typical presenting issues that I have supported clients with:
Trauma (PTSD diagnosis / individual traumatic incidents), divorce & separation, family breakdown, relationship and intimacy issues, anxiety, depression, stress, sexual and gender identity exploration, healing from abuse, body image, family and attachment patterns, grief and loss, life transitions, low self-esteem, work-related issues (including performance anxiety, creative blocks and identity as a performer).
Outside of being a therapist, I also work as a creative freelancer and have years of lived experience in the film industry, so have a good understanding of the nature of freelance work and shifting schedules.
Please reach out by email if you are interested in booking a session.
