Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I spent over two decades working within creative and corporate environments. I understand first-hand the unique pressures that can come with visibility, performance, inconsistent income, perfectionism, comparison, long hours, identity tied to achievement, and balancing personal wellbeing alongside demanding careers.
Many of the people I support appear capable and successful externally while privately experiencing anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, emotional exhaustion, relationship difficulties, grief, creative blocks, or periods of uncertainty and change.
My approach is integrative and draws primarily from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT approaches, alongside ACT, mindfulness, postivie psychology and trauma-informed practice where helpful. Therapy offers space to better understand patterns beneath the surface — including identity, self-worth, relationships, loss, and emotional responses — while also developing practical tools to support meaningful and sustainable change.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, grief and bereavement, relationship difficulties, life transitions, career uncertainty, reproductive experiences, and questions around identity and direction.
My style is warm, collaborative, and thoughtfully direct. Sessions are paced around your needs and offer a supportive space to reflect, process difficult experiences, strengthen self-understanding, and reconnect with what matters to you.
I offer short- and long-term therapy online and by telephone across the UK and internationally, alongside in-person appointments in Liverpool.
