Rodrigo Barradas is a Physiotherapist specializing in Hand and Wrist. He has worked both in the NHS and in private clinics, as well as supporting artists and production teams in contexts that range from small music festivals to large arena shows. Rodrigo is a keen bass player with recording and touring experience in the UK and Europe, and has always been passionate about working with people in the performing arts sector.
Rodrigo helps patients in their recovery from traumatic injuries such as fractures, sprains, or after a surgical procedure; and helps them figure out the causes of their symptoms via a thorough assessment and making a plan to address them - whether these are Tendinopathies, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or other neuropathies, Osteoarthritis, Focal Dystonia, or other types of conditions that can be debilitating for a performing artist.
Rodrigo provides advice and exercises relevant to his patients, as well as manual therapy, splinting (including custom-made thermoplastic splints that can be fabricated for you within the first appointment), dry needling, shockwave, wax therapy, and wound and scar management.
Rodrigo can conduct sessions in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
