As a BAPAM-registered psychotherapist I have worked with a diverse range of clients from the creative industries: performers, musicians, singers, composers, DJs, playwrights and instrumentalists. This gives me invaluable insight into the physical and emotional pressures of working in the field – and the joy of connecting to audiences and fellow performers. With a previous career in television and film, I understand what it means to work a high-pressure creative environment.

I can work with you via a BAPAM referral or as a private client.

Would you like to discuss a specific emotional or psychological concern over a short period, or are you are looking to engage in therapy in a more open-ended way? I will help you identify and understand patterns of behaviour and thinking which hold you back, so we can start exploring alternative perspectives and meaningful change. Therapy will give you the space to think and speak freely, away from the stresses of everyday life.

Outside of BAPAM, I work in private practice with individuals and couples; as a clinical supervisor for individual therapists and the Royal Academy of Music student counselling service. I have a masters degree in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

"Engaging with the arts has always been hugely important to me as a means of understanding how human beings relate to the world and the sense we make of it. I think of psychotherapy as a collaborative process in which I help clients find ways to manage the pressures of their work and explore their own psychological and emotional worlds".
