My name is Natalie, and I am an Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor. I believe that feeling truly heard and genuinely understood is at the heart of meaningful, lasting change. At the centre of my work is the therapeutic relationship, built on trust, openness and mutual respect. I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can feel safe enough to talk openly and honestly. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you, gently making sense of your experiences and what they mean for you.
Having trained and worked within the performing arts industry, I understand the unique emotional and psychological pressures that can come with performance training and professional careers.
Alongside my private counselling practice, I support clients with a wide range of concerns, including performance anxiety, perfectionism, injury, comparison, identity challenges, low self-esteem and confidence, burnout and the uncertainty of creative careers, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma, the impact of abuse, and life transitions. I also have experience working with individuals living with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, supporting the unique challenges this can bring to identity, emotional regulation, self-worth, relationships and everyday life. I have supported clients of the LGBTQ+ community experiencing minority stress and navigating environments that are not always inclusive, offering an affirming, supportive space that fosters resilience and a sense of belonging.
My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in an understanding of how our early relationships and life experiences shape the way we think, feel and relate to others. I have particular experience working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic abuse and the impact of abuse. My integrative approach draws from a range of modalities allowing me to be responsive to your needs, work with sensitivity and care, prioritise safety, trust and empowerment, and always be guided by your readiness and emotional wellbeing.
