I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy registered Counsellor, trained in Integrative Counselling, combining person-centred and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. I work with individuals 18+, both short-term and long-term. In addition to my private practice, I am a Counsellor at BIMM University, MetFilm School and London Contemporary Dance School.
My ethos as a counsellor is to offer a non-judgmental space, helping individuals explore how they are feeling, clarify issues, address them and move forward confidently with deeper self knowledge and understanding. I am neurodivergent informed, working with clients who are both diagnosed and self diagnosed as having ADHD and autism. I have an understanding of diversity and intersectionality and inclusion and equity are key to my practice.
I work with a diverse client group and a wide range of issues including anxiety, social anxiety and anxiety around being on stage/performing; low mood; depression; health related issues; family, friend and work relationships and dynamics; unresolved trauma and family trauma; abuse; self esteem; self image and body confidence.
My focus is on counselling those involved in the creative and performing arts worlds as these are the worlds that are familiar and comfortable to me both professionally, having worked both in my previous profession and now as a Counsellor in these sectors and personally, reflecting my passions.
