Janine Ellis is a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Janine is experienced in working with indie, rock and pop musicians / bands / independent sector / DJs and wider music industry workers (labels, agents, promoters, managers, touring professionals). Before re-training, Janine worked in the music industry at various independent record labels such as Rough Trade Records, PIAS and Warp Records as a project manager leading top ten album campaigns for likes of Mystery Jets, Temples, Belle & Sebastian and Squid amongst others. "Therefore, as well as working with a wide range of people, cultures and experiences, I can provide specialist counselling to musicians and music industry workers, as I understand the unique nature and distinct needs of the music community from my myriad of experience within this industry".

Janine offers the following therapies: Integrative, Humanistic, Interpersonal, Person-centred, Relational, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Transactional analysis.

Janine is currently a member of the Music Industry Therapist Collective (MITC) - an international group of specialist psychotherapists/counsellors/psychologists who provide psychotherapy to musicians/music industry professionals.
