I am a BACP-registered integrative counsellor working predominantly with creatives across the music industry, performing arts, writing and broadcasting. I also work with ex-boarders as well as people with general life issues.
Prior to retraining I spent 25+ years in the UK music industry where I worked closely with mostly electronic and urban artists in both the mainstream and independent sectors of labels, radio, TV and magazines.
During my therapy training I worked in drug and alcohol services supporting clients with their recovery from substance misuse and held various placements including counselling music and performing arts students at BIMM Brighton. Post qualification, alongside ongoing private practice in Brighton and London, I was a counsellor for under 18s at a music and performing arts college.
I can help with relationship, family and work-related issues, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, performance anxiety, life transitions, substance misuse, trauma, identity and loss.
I support people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and neurodivergent conditions (particularly ADHD and autistic spectrum), working inclusively with compassion and respect.
