Sarah is an Occupational Psychologist with twenty years of experience in Occupational Health, providing psychological support for staff and teams in the NHS, Social Care, Local Government, Education, Industry, and the Performing Arts. Sarah’s earlier career as a Professional Musician enabled her to develop experience and insight into the challenges, pressures and demands facing the musician from training to professional life in music performance.

Sarah is a BAPAM assessing clinician in Cardiff and has a private practice in West Wales. She combines her experience and expertise across her two careers to provide a specialist service for musicians and performers. As a practitioner she uses a Cognitive-Behavioural and integrative approach, drawn from a psychological-biological-social understanding of human behaviour and emotional needs. Focusing on the unique needs and resources of the individual, Sarah works collaboratively with clients to develop understanding, guide skill acquisition, strengthen coping abilities, and nurture resilience.
