Giovanna is an Integrative and Existential Analytic Psychotherapist with experience of working with performing artists. She is also trained in Autogenic Training and Hypnotherapy, Workplace Mediation and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). Her clinical work includes counselling and psychotherapy with adults, children, and young people presenting with different psychological distress, in community and NHS settings (including Psycho-Oncology, Paediatric Psychology, Health Psychology/Haematology, Pain management, and Occupational Health clinics). She has additional experience in the facilitation of mediation, psychological debriefing, and stress management training for NHS staff. Giovanna has been involved in teaching as a Guest lecturer for the MSc in Performing Arts Medicine at UCL.
Giovanna is a classically trained harpist. She completed studies in Music Performance and Applied Theatre and has worked for over two decades as a performer in the field of classical music. Her private practice is in West London.
