An online psychological support group for Equity members run by an experienced psychotherapist

This is an online psychological support group run by BAPAM in partnership with Equity for Equity members

This BAPAM and Equity psychological support group is facilitated by an experienced psychotherapist. The sessions are educational with exercises and techniques to take away each week and the chance to review them with the facilitator the following week.

The group runs for 6 weeks

We understand with busy schedules that you might not be able to attend all 6 so there is flexibility but to get the most out of the group, it’s best to attend all 6.

Session 1 – Self-esteem and Self-doubt

Session 2 – Depression & Low Mood

Session 3 – Stress & Anxiety

Session 4 – Creativity & Motivation

Session 5 – Challenging Negative Thoughts and Building and Maintaining Positive Relationships

Session 6 – Authenticity and Identity

Having low self-esteem and self-doubting thoughts is common amongsgt performing artists. Aimed at actors this workshop will look at what self-esteem is, how having a low self-esteem feels, factors that can lead to low self-esteem and imposter syndrome. We will then go on to look at techniques to nurture our self-esteem, challenge imposter syndrome and strategies to mitigate damaging thoughts and behaviours.
